Well, I guess some of you would like to get a statement on what was going on on my profile lately and why, so here it is (or better: here is the best you'll get).
There's an easy explanation for why I did it: Because I can.
This is not satisfactory at all, but it's the truth and nothing but the truth, though not even close to the whole truth, of course...maybe this is a better answer: I've alienated myself from dA.
Yes, I'm leaving deviantART; I deleted most of my gallery and all my journal; I closed down comments on all submissions apart from profile (which can't be closed) and this entry, so you can rant, clamor, cry, condole or party here - whatever you like to.
I won't close down the profile completely to onward host the ressources left in my gallery.
